07106: Here is a solid silver fish serving set from the 19th century era of Napoleon III.  This set is crafted of highest quality French silver which is .950 pure - a finer silver than sterling - and is hallmarked with the Minerve stamp.  Both the large knife and the fork have been decorated with pieced designs and engraving.  The handles are in the Louis XV style of baroque elegance.  The workmanship on this set is exceptional.  The knife measures 12.5" long and the fork measures 10.5" long.  Ca. 1870

05907: Here is a large soup tureen (soupière) from the early 20th century.  This piece is in faience and was created by the famous French factory of Sarreguemines.  This pattern is called 'Oberbnai' and celebrates one of France's beautiful cities with oval scenic depictions of Strasbourg.  The sides and top of this soupière are decorated with roses and ribbons and sprays of flowers.  View the top <HERE>.   This piece measures 12" wide and 9.5" high to the top of the lid.  There are no chips or cracks.  This piece is in near-perfect condition.  Early 20th century.

07011:  Here is a set of 12 French antique dessert knives with caramel-colored Bakelite handles. Presented in their original box, this set appears to have never been used.  The French serve fruits or cheese for dessert and this kind of knife would accompany that course.  They would be equally correct to serve with a salad course.  The knives measures 7.75" long. 06958:  Here is a French .950 sterling silver carving set in the original box.  French silver is higher quality than sterling as it is .950 rather than .925. The knife blade is of carbon steel and is marked "Paris."  The handles with a neo-classical pattern bear the Minerve hallmark. The oval could be engraved with your initials. 08040:  In design terms, this is very much in keeping with French Art Deco.  But, it is actually a very large and dramatic ceramic piece from Haeger Potteries, USA.  Standing an impressive 19.5" high, this sleek, leaping gazelle statuette combines simplicity of line with motion and form. The glaze is in perfect condition with no cracks or chips.  Unsigned, but a patented Haeger design.  Mid-20th century.
