07683: This is a never-used, mid-century English Sheffield steel fish set in the original box. Manufactured by Leonard Homes & Company, Sheffield, England, the service for six includes both forks and knives with steel blades and celluloid handles. A close-up view can be seen <HERE.> The knives measure 8" long and the forks measure 7" long. The box shows some age and one hinge is loose, but that doesn't detract from the charm of this cutlery set. English made, but purchased in France. Ca. 1950 (SOLD) |

7396: This diamond-shaped picture is in a carved wood frame
with a faux-wood matting. The circular picture, which has gold
highlights, is of the Madonna and Child with tiny angels on each
side. The Madonna's contemplative expression is quite lovely,
making this an unusual devotional piece. A micro-view

06419: This is an unusual French Art Deco picture frame with a solid
marble base. The asymmetrical chrome faceted posts on each side
support a double glass insert. The glass slides out and the photo
goes between the plates. The base is original, the glass plates are

08218: This is a vintage French Art Deco vide poche, an oval ceramic
plate to put your keys and change in when you empty your pockets. This
piece is in very good condition. It does have a chip on the
underside that is not visible from the top. The back of the plate

08194: Here is a silver-plate stag horn fish serving set from circa
1900 in the original satin-lined box. Both the blade of the knife
and the fork are engraved with flowers and tiny birds. Micro view

very good condition with minimal use, although the box is fragile.
The knife is 14"L and the fork is 10.75"L. There are no hallmarks,
so I'm guessing this is American Victorian. $85.00 the set |

01490: This is a large faience oval jardinère from
the famous K&G Luneville factory. The dramatic Art Deco design is
called "Percola." The signature on the bottom can be seen
<HERE.>
This vintage pot is in excellent condition with only a couple of very minor
flaws. The top edge shows a little wear plus has three extremely
faint hairlines. These hairlines are only seen from the inside because of the

05907: Here is a large soup tureen (soupière) from the early 20th
century. This piece is in faience and was created by the famous
French factory of Sarreguemines. This pattern is called 'Oberbnai'
and celebrates one of France's beautiful cities with oval scenic
depictions of Strasbourg. The sides and top of this soupière are
decorated with roses and ribbons and sprays of flowers. View the
