06895:  There are four single fabric width pieces of this nice-quality percale-weight cotton print from Provence.  The background is a creamy off-white.  The unusual and lyrical floral motif of inter-twining bouquets in muted warm shades of reds and golds, moves up the fabric in a diagonal.  Fine tendrils of fronds and leaves float around the bouquets.  Each piece measures 31"W x 100"H.  These pieces are in overall good condition, but do have some slight color variation and a couple of small spots.  Two of the pieces have slight water marks. This fabric is much prettier than it appears in the photo. Ca. 1900

Each panel measures 32"W x 108"H with each panel having a horizontal seam about 28" from the bottom edge.  Dark backgrounds were extremely popular during the era of Napoleon III. Ca. 1880
