08273: Here is a very nice piece of French vintage ticking fabric in clear true red with ombré stripes in successive shades of khaki and tan. This kind of red ticking comes from the Alsace region of France and was originally the covering for featherbeds. All tickings have been freshly washed and ironed. 08262: Here is a pretty piece of a late 19th century cotton print
with a charming motif of suspended baskets of flowers in
basket-shaped cartouches. The pattern is a half-drop with rope and
medallion motif between. The background is a creamy off-white and
the foreground colors are muted. A micro view can be seen

several small holes and one 2" spot, but still plenty of usable

07218: Here are four huge pieces of classically French percale-weight cotton fabric. The wide pale stripe has a delicate formal background with a foreground motif of cartouches and medallions filled with roses and floral vines. Micro-view <HERE.> Two pieces measure 32"W x 110"H. 07262: This is a very large piece, but unfortunately, it is not
in very sturdy condition. It has many weak spots and small holes, so
could only be used as "background" decoration or for design
inspiration. It would work very nicely inside the doors of a
bookcase or behind the shelves of an armoire. The background is
near-white. The meandering, climbing floral motif is done in a
medium brown with accents of pale aqua. This large piece measures

07804: Here are two pieces of beautifully designed and printed 19th
century medium-weight fabric. The popularity of middle eastern rugs
in that era inspired the French textile manufacturers to produce
prints such as this one, incorporating rug designs and
colors. The ombré shadings and the intricate background make this
one of the nicer kilim prints. Each large piece measures 32.5"W x

07474: There are two very large pieces of this unused French vintage
linen-cotton fabric from the 1930s. The background is a very soft
maize. The small-scale foreground motif of meandering vines and
nosegays is designed to mimic the the style of delicate 18th century
block print and resist dye methods. The colors are subtle and
capture the glow of the past. Each piece of new-old yardage measures
